Ing. Josef Hamáček has been the Managing Director for Dow Czech Republic & Slovakia since 2020. In his role, he is helping Dow’s next phase in the region: to become the most innovative, customer-centric, inclusive and sustainable materials science company in the world. He did uptake this additional responsibility along with his role as Senior Sales Manager for the CEE region.
He has extensive experience in the chemical and non-ferrous metals sectors. Prior to joining Dow in 2019 he held senior sales positions in DuPont, AL INVEST and Eko Metal Recycling.
Hamáček holds a Master’s degree in Economy and Management from the Private University College of Economic Studies in Prague and VSB-TU Faculty of Economics in Ostrava (Czech Republic).
