Kateřina Konečná is a member of the European Parliament. She is active in committees for Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and Transport and Tourism (TRAN).
In 2002, she became the youngest member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament ever. Having been reelected three times, she decided to run for the European Parliament. She was elected in 2014 and again in 2019. During her first term, she served as the shadow rapporteur for the revision of EU ETS. She has been involved in shaping legislation regulating the automotive sector.
